Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve gathered answers to the questions guests ask us most often before visiting Legends of Fear. If you don’t find the information you’re looking for, please contact us before your visit. We’re happy to help.
Tickets & Admission
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes. Purchasing tickets online in advance is strongly recommended. Many nights sell out, and advance ticket purchases guarantee your admission for your selected date and entry time.
Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
If tickets remain available, they may be purchased at the admission booth on the night of your visit. However, many evenings sell out in advance, so we recommend purchasing online before you arrive.
Can I experience both attractions in one evening?
Yes. Guests may purchase admission to either individual attraction or enjoy both the Haunted Hayride and The Hallow during the same visit. We recommend allowing enough time to experience everything Legends of Fear has to offer.
What is the difference between General Admission and Premier FastPass?
General Admission provides entry during your selected ticket time and allows you to experience the attraction in the standard queue.
Premier FastPass Admission includes expedited access through a dedicated attraction entrance, reducing your wait time while providing the same unforgettable experience.
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and are non-refundable. If Legends of Fear closes due to severe weather or another unforeseen circumstance, you will receive an email from our ticket service on refunds or rebook.
Can I reschedule my tickets?
Ticket rescheduling isn’t available, since admission times and even entire nights may sell out. If Legends of Fear closes due to severe weather, ticket holders will receive rebooking or refund instructions by email, the one exception to our no-refund policy.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes. Active military members with valid ID receive $3 off an individual attraction ticket, or $6 off a Combo Ticket for both attractions. This discount is for the active military individual only.
What happens if Legends of Fear closes due to severe weather?
Guest safety is always our priority. If severe weather requires us to close, updates will be posted on our website and social media channels. Ticket holders will receive information regarding available options to rebook or refund.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive after your scheduled admission time, we will do our best to accommodate you as close to your reserved admission time as possible.
However, we cannot accommodate late arrivals after the Ticket Booth has closed or once attractions begin closing for the evening.
If your scheduled admission time is 9:30 PM or later, we strongly recommend arriving at least 45 minutes early. This allows enough time for parking, check-in, and security screening before the final attractions begin.
Please note that tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged because of a late arrival after attractions have closed. At the end of the evening, attractions conclude on schedule, and we are unable to reopen or extend operations to accommodate guests who arrive after closing.
Haunted Hayride & The Hallow
How long is the Haunted Hayride?
The Haunted Hayride is approximately 30 minutes long. Climb aboard a tractor-drawn hay wagon and travel through a series of legendary destinations brought to life by live actors, cinematic scenery, lighting, sound, and special effects.

Are the attractions outdoors?
Yes. Both the Haunted Hayride and The Hallow are primarily outdoor attractions. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather and wearing comfortable, closed-toe footwear.
Are the Haunted Hayride and The Hallow the same experience?

Many guests choose to experience both attractions to enjoy the complete Legends of Fear experience.

Can I ride the Haunted Hayride more than once?
Absolutely. If time and ticket availability permit, guests are welcome to purchase additional admission and experience the Haunted Hayride again.
Will actors touch me?

Parking & Arrival
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 35 minutes before your scheduled admission time, or 45 minutes on high-demand nights as noted on our calendar. This allows enough time for parking, check-in, security screening, restrooms, and enjoying the midway before entering your attraction.
Fridays and Saturdays close to Halloween are typically among our high-demand nights — check our calendar to confirm the recommended arrival window for your date.
Is parking free?
Yes. Parking at Legends of Fear is free.
What happens if the parking areas become full?
If our primary parking areas reach capacity, additional off-site parking with complimentary shuttle service may be provided. Parking attendants will direct guests to the appropriate parking location.
Can buses and motor coaches park at Legends of Fear?
Yes. Motor coaches and buses are welcome. Upon arrival, our parking attendants will direct drivers to the designated parking area for that evening.
Is there a designated drop-off area?
Yes. Guests may be dropped off near the main entrance. Please follow the directions of our parking attendants and event staff.
Guests under the age of 16 may not be dropped off without a responsible adult present, consistent with our policy that all guests under 16 must be accompanied throughout their visit.
What happens after I arrive?
After parking, proceed through security screening. Once security is complete, check in at the Welcome Center or Ticket Booth before entering the midway. From there, you can enjoy food, beverages, shopping, and other midway attractions until it’s time to enter your scheduled attraction.
What if someone in my group arrives separately?
If someone in your group does not have their own ticket and you are holding it for them, plan to meet before entering the Welcome Center and security screening area.
Guests with their own tickets may arrive separately and enter independently.
If you plan to experience an attraction together, we recommend meeting in the midway before entering the attraction queue. While we make every reasonable effort to keep groups together, riding or walking together cannot be guaranteed if guests arrive separately or enter the attraction at different times.
Accessibility & Guest Safety
Is Legends of Fear wheelchair accessible?
Legends of Fear is an outdoor event located on a working farm with gravel walkways, uneven terrain, hills, and changing elevations.
The Hallow is not wheelchair accessible and may be difficult to navigate with a walker, cane, or crutches. The Haunted Hayride requires guests to climb two steps to board and exit the hay wagon.
Guests with mobility concerns are encouraged to contact us before purchasing tickets so we can discuss their individual needs and help determine whether the attractions are appropriate for their visit.

Legends of Fear features theatrical fog, strobe and flashing lights, loud sound effects, darkness, uneven terrain, live actors, and sudden startle effects. Guests with medical conditions or sensitivities that may be affected by these elements should carefully consider whether the attractions are appropriate for them.
What happens if someone in my group becomes frightened?
Our actors are trained to entertain, not intimidate beyond the nature of the experience.
